The best decision my husband and I made during our home buying process was to work with Tai Boutell and the amazing team at Santa Cruz Home Finance.  At the onset working with them seemed like one would expect, Tai was professional, helpful, articulate and clearly knew what financing options were out there and what would be best for us. 

 

However, it became evident really fast that we were working with the best when we received the final piece of documentation to be in contract - which in our short sale situation was the letter of approval of our offer from the second lien holder.  The demands from the second lein holder seemed impossible. They were asking us to close escrow in 9 days!  The situation was further intensified, or so I would have thought by the fact that we were working under stricter credit requirements as a result of the credit and mortgage crisis AND we were going to be getting an FHA loan.  The team at Santa Cruz Home Finance began to shine so bright at this point.  I felt as though our loan was the only loan the team was working on and that they would be willing to do almost anything to help make our dream of ownership happen. 

 

Because of this dedication, professionalism and superior service Santa Cruz Home FInance made the impossible happen, we closed in 9 days on an FHA loan!  I cannot more highly recommend this professional team of great people and really feel you have no other choice when getting financed on a home than Tai Boutell at Santa Cruz Home Finance.
